Warm in winter, cool in summer, waterproof and durable, wool is a valuable product that struggling families can use for clothing or sell for extra income that can pay for school fees, medicine, clothing and home improvements. All over the world, Heifer recipient families are raising sheep to advance the cause against hunger and poverty. “Passing on the Gift” means the recipients agree to share the offspring of donated animals with others in need, who in turn agree to pass on an animal, creating a chain of income and self-reliance that keeps on giving
